The South Australian Museum is pleased to offer a quieter after-hours opening on Friday 11 September, creating an enjoyable and welcoming experience for all visitors to connect with our collections.

We'll be turning some sensory elements off and limiting visitor numbers to create a quieter environment. Our sensory backpacks will also be available for loan.

Addionally, there will be relaxed activities on offer. Visitors can create a paper wing hand puppet, take part in The Dating Game to learn about dating techniques for Museum objects, and explore the Discovery Centre.

Everyone is welcome. This is a special event for anyone who would prefer a quieter Museum visit with their friends, families and supporters.
